Is my data safe with Finsplore?
What Finsplore does with your information, what it never does, and the settings that keep your account secure.
Your information is yours. Finsplore uses it to run the product and show you a clear picture of your own money. The Privacy Policy has the full details.
What Finsplore never does
- Never sells your data. Finsplore does not sell, rent or share your personal information with advertisers.
- Never asks for your bank login. Finsplore never asks for your internet banking password, and you should never give it to anyone.
- Never moves your money. Finsplore is read-only. It cannot make payments, transfer money or change anything at your bank. See Can Finsplore move my money?
What Finsplore stores
Finsplore stores what you give it: your profile, the statements you import and the transactions in them, and the budgets and goals you set up. It uses trusted service providers to run the product, such as for hosting and email. Some of this processing happens outside Australia. The Privacy Policy lists who they are and where.
Your information travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Keep your account secure
- Turn on two-factor sign-in, so your password alone is not enough to get in. See Turn two-factor sign-in on or off.
- Check where you are signed in, and sign out of devices you do not recognise. See Manage where you're signed in.
- Use a password you do not use anywhere else. See Change your password.
You stay in control
You can download a copy of your information, or delete your account and your data, at any time.
