Approve or reject changes an assistant suggests

When a connected assistant wants to change something in Finsplore, it suggests the change first. Nothing is changed until it is approved. Some changes can only be approved by you, in Finsplore.

Approve or reject a change on the websiteCopy Anchor Link

1. Open Connect in the menu (under Assistant).
2. Choose the Approvals tab. Changes waiting for you are listed there. Each suggestion shows which assistant proposed it, a summary, and the details of what would change.
3. Read the summary and the details.
4. Click Approve to make the change, or Reject to throw it away.

A suggestion marked Only you can approve this cannot be approved by the assistant. This applies to deleting things, merging or deleting custom categories, changing many items at once, and creating or changing accounts.

1. Open Settings and then Connected AI.
2. Under Waiting for your approval, which shows how many changes are waiting, for example Waiting for your approval (2), find the change.
3. Tap Approve or Reject.

How long a suggestion lastsCopy Anchor Link

A suggestion waits for 10 minutes. After that it expires, and the assistant has to suggest it again. An expired suggestion has a Dismiss button in place of Reject. An assistant can have at most 50 suggestions waiting at once.

If you disconnect an assistant, its waiting suggestions are cancelled.

When you connected the assistant, Require my approval for every change was on unless you switched it off. If you switched it off, everyday changes to a single item run straight away, and you can find them in Activity. Deletions and bigger changes still wait for you.

To go back to approving everything, disconnect the assistant and connect it again with the switch on.

For the changes an assistant is allowed to confirm, it should show you the summary and ask first. After you say yes, it confirms the change itself. If it tries to confirm a change that only you can approve, Finsplore refuses and the assistant tells you to approve it in Finsplore.
