Finsplore

Create your Finsplore account

Sign up with your email address, confirm it with a code, and set up your account in three short steps.

Your Finsplore account keeps your accounts, spending, budgets and goals together in one place. You use the same account on the web at app.finsplore.io and in the Finsplore app.

  1. Go to app.finsplore.io and click Sign up.

  2. Enter your Email address and click Continue.

  3. Create a Password and type it again in Confirm password. A checklist shows what your password needs:

    • At least 8 characters
    • Upper and lower case
    • A number
    • A symbol, like ! ? #

When every rule is met, the checklist changes to Strong password.

  4. Click Sign up.

By continuing, you agree to the Finsplore Terms and Privacy Policy.

You can also sign up with Google or Apple under or continue with, instead of an email and password.

Confirm your email address

Finsplore emails you a 6-digit code so it knows the address is yours. The email is titled Confirm your email address.

  1. Open the email and copy the code.
  2. Enter the code in the six boxes on the Check your email screen. Finsplore moves on as soon as all six digits are in.

The code expires after 10 minutes. You can also use the button in the email instead of typing the code.

If the email has not arrived after 30 seconds, check your spam folder, or click Resend to get a new code. A new code replaces the old one, so use the most recent email. To fix a typo in your address, click Use a different email.

Set up your account

After you confirm your email, Finsplore takes you through three steps.

1. Welcome to Finsplore

Enter your First name. Last name (optional) and a photo are up to you. If you skip the photo, Finsplore shows your initials. Click Continue.

2. Protect your account

Two-factor sign-in adds a second step when you sign in, so someone who learns your password still cannot get into your account. You need an authenticator app on your phone.

  1. Click Set up two-factor.
  2. Scan the square on screen with your authenticator app.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code the app shows and click Turn on two-factor.

To do this later, click Skip for now.

3. Add your first account

Click Import a statement to bring in your first bank account. Your spending shows up as soon as the import finishes. See Import a bank statement.

To do this later, click Skip for now. You can add accounts at any time from Accounts.
