I can't sign in
What each sign-in message means and how to get back into your Finsplore account.
Find the message you see when you try to sign in, and follow the steps for it.
"Email or password is incorrect."
Either the email address is not the one you signed up with, or the password is wrong. Finsplore does not say which, to keep your account safe.
- Check the email address for typos.
- Check that Caps Lock is off, and type your password again.
- If it still does not work, click Forgot password? and choose a new one. See Reset your password.
If you signed up with Google or Apple, use that button under or continue with instead of a password.
"Too many attempts. Wait a few minutes and try again."
Finsplore pauses sign-in for a few minutes after several tries in a row. Wait, then try again. If you are not sure of your password, reset it rather than guessing.
"Confirm your email to finish signing in."
Your email address has not been confirmed yet. Finsplore emails you a 6-digit code.
- Open the email and enter the code on the Check your email screen. The code expires in 10 minutes.
- If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder, or click Resend for a new code. Use the code from the most recent email.
You were signed out
For your security, Finsplore can sign you out after 30 minutes without activity, or after 12 hours. It also signs you out if someone chose Sign out of all devices on your account. The sign-in page tells you which one happened. Sign in again to carry on.
If you did not sign out of all devices yourself, change your password once you are back in. See Change your password.
You lost the phone with your authenticator app
- On the Enter your authenticator code screen, click Lost your phone? Use a recovery code.
- Enter one of your recovery codes. Each code works once.
Once you are back in, set up two-factor sign-in on your new phone and create new recovery codes in Settings, on the Security tab. If you do not have any recovery codes, follow the steps on the sign-in screen to contact support.
"We couldn't reach Finsplore just now."
Finsplore could not be reached for a moment. Check your internet connection and try again shortly.
