What you see on Home
A guide to each part of Home, from your month so far to your accounts, goals and net worth.
Home is the first page you see after you sign in. It answers one question: where do you stand right now? Each part gives you a quick summary and a link to the full page when you want more.
Your month so far
The card at the top sums up your latest month, such as September so far. It tells you in one sentence how much you saved of the money that came in, or how much more you spent than came in.
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Money in | Everything that came into your accounts this month. |
| Money out | Everything you spent this month. |
| Saved | The share of your money in that you kept. The small arrow and pts show how this compares with last month, in percentage points. |
| Biggest spend | The category you spent the most in this month, and how much. |
The month shown is the latest month in the statements you have imported. When your statements cover the whole month, the heading changes from so far to Your and the month name.
Click Import statements to add a new statement. See Import a bank statement.
Your accounts
Your accounts shows up to three of your accounts, with each one's bank, name, last 4 digits and balance. The note at the bottom of each card tells you how up to date it is:
- Statement to and a date: the account is up to date with your other accounts.
- weeks behind: this account's latest transaction is more than two weeks older than your most recent one. Click Import to bring it up to date.
- No statements yet: click Import to add one.
Click an account to open it, or click View all to see every account. To add another account, click Add an account.
Your goals
Your goals shows your goals with a progress ring and how much you have saved towards each. Click Edit goal on a goal to open it, All goals to see every goal, or Add new goal to start one. See Create a goal.
Net worth
Net worth is everything you own minus everything you owe. Home shows your net worth today, how it changed since last month, and a chart of your net worth at the end of each of the last few months. Hover over the chart to see the figure for a month.
Below the chart, What you own and What you owe show the two sides. Click See details for the full picture.
Latest transactions
Latest transactions shows your most recent transactions from your statements. Click All transactions to see them all. See Find a transaction.
Good to know
Good to know points out things worth a look, with a link to each one. For example:
- Payments that look bigger than usual, with Check it.
- Transactions from your last import that still need a category, with Sort now.
- A budget that needs attention, with Adjust budgets.
When nothing needs a look, it tells you everything is sorted.
