Choose your notifications

You decide what Finsplore tells you about and how: as an alert in your browser or on your phone, or by email. Changes save as soon as you make them.

1. Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
2. Open the Notifications tab.

You can also click Notification settings on your notifications page.

Push notificationsCopy Anchor Link

Push notifications are alerts on your phone and in your browser.

1. Turn on Push notifications.
2. To get alerts in this browser too, even when Finsplore is not open, turn on This browser. Your browser may ask you to allow notifications.
3. Under Notify me about, choose what you want alerts for:
   • Goals: when you reach a goal, a contribution is ready to make, or a goal date is close.
   • Accounts: when an import finishes, or an account needs your attention.
   • Budgets: when your spending gets close to a budget.

When Home shows Get Finsplore alerts in this browser, you can also click Turn on there.

Quiet hoursCopy Anchor Link

Quiet hours hold back non-urgent notifications overnight, then deliver them together when quiet hours end.

1. Turn on Quiet hours.
2. Set the From and To times, such as 9:30 pm to 8:00 am.
3. Check the Time zone.

EmailCopy Anchor Link

1. Turn on Email.
2. Under About you, choose:
   • Weekly summary: a Monday recap of your goals, spending, accounts and budgets.
   • Reminders: dates you have set.
   • Getting started: reminders to finish setting up your account.
3. Under From Finsplore, choose whether you want News & offers, Tips and Surveys.

Account & security emails stay on, so you always hear about security alerts and important changes to your account.

When you turn off Push notifications or Email, every option under it turns off too.
